The taste of crisp fried bacon reminds me of my brother. Years ago we used to get up at the crack of dawn in a house full of sleeping older sibs, and our parents and make breakfast. The goal was to prepare breakfast for our parents and serve it to them in bed before they knew we were up! Unfortunately, I never thought to ask them whether or not they heard the pans clashing in the kitchen at 6 a.m. My Mom was severely arthritic and moving around in the morning was quite difficult for her in those days. They graciously accepted and cheered us on, all the while, many times eating burnt toast and bacon.
While we’re on the subject of family, my sister called yesterday to sing the praises of dead sea salt as a bath soak. Sore muscles, tiredness, fatigue, ill-mood all stand to be remedied by this magical natural product. The Dead Sea has 10 times the mineral content of regular ocean water which accounts for the fabulous healing properties one can expect from using these salts. Those with eczema or psoriasis are encouraged to bath twice per week using 2 to 3 pounds of Dead Sea salt in the bathwater. From all accounts it is at the very least helpful.
We sell bath salts and Dead Sea body scrub to smooth and soften your skin. If you have a cut or open wound you wouldn’t want to soak in these salts as it would be most uncomfortable.
So, see what frying up a pan of bacon can do for your business??? Thanks for checkin’ in!
