Did you know that all those fragrances in all the things we use are by law, proprietary recipes??? That means your deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, dish soap, laundry soap, household cleaners and a myriad of other things too – have ingredients in them that their manufactureres don’t want you to know. Probably because if you knew what was in them, you wouldn’t buy them!!! They are full of chemicals and synthetics.
Soapmakers too are protected from having to divulge their ingredients. When at Whole Foods today discussing the details of our agreement, we got into a discussion on how important it is to divulge this information. Customers who are willing to spend $5 on a bar of soap, often do care and want to know what is penetrating their skin.
After spending so much time and effort developing a very specific recipe, I admit to having a bit of resistance to putting my recipe out there. Oh well….
I did NOT get lost today, but I am thinking about buying a GPS! Our meeting was moved from Alpharetta to Briarcliff – I think they just wanted to see if I could make it from one store to the other!
